In the villa from the 80s, the children had moved away from home and a room adjacent to the kitchen had been vacated. It was therefore tempting to remove the wall between the room and kitchen, to make space for a dream kitchen and wine cellar.
The soil from the excavation, was sent through a window by means of a conveyor belt, to a container at the other end of the belt. Afterwards, the modules for the cellar were shipped in through the same window. That way we could spare the family a lot of traffic through the house, with our materials and workers, during the days of excavation and construction of the cellar.
