We installed this cellar in Norway, while the days were significantly shorter than the nights and the temperatures way below 0 °C.

The family wanted a larger living room, hence they decided to include their covered terrace to their living room. The room where we were to install the cellar was not yet build, so the construction of the cellar was done outside, which was practical but also pretty cold.

With a glass trap door and light under each step, the cellar is now a sculptural element in the interior design and it fits perfectly with the family’s contemporary interior design.
