Project Vedbæk - DK
Trap door: Rectangular, mortorized glass trap door
Optional extras: LED-light solution and step tread (black leather)
This project was not about a house extension nor a new home, instead we were involved in a total make-over of an existing utility room. During the excavation work we had to work with a high water table, which is actually not that unusual for us. In such cases, we pump while we dig and even during the construction of the cellar.
Once the cellar is fitted, the water around the cellar has no practical significance. There is no risk of buoyancy of the basement, as it in itself weighs too much for the water to have any decisive influence. There is also no risk of water penetrating, as the membrane fitted in the hole before constructing the cellars, is a patented and 100% waterproof solution that keeps all moisture out.
The model is White with a depth of 2.25m with a bottle capacity of 1,360 bottles. The wine cellar is finished with a rectangular glass hatch with frame.
