Project Vedbæk - DK
Trap door: Rectangular, motorized with frame
Optional extras: LED-light and step tread (black rubber)
One of the first Spiral Cellars projects we were responsible for in Denmark, was in connection with the extension to a villa. It was one of our first assignments hence little did we know that this would not be the easiest of installations. The area in which the house is built, has multiple natural springs, so we experienced more water in connection with the excavation than we have seen in a project ever since. Now we know, that if a cellar could be installed there, then it can be installed nearly anywhere; however, just like in this instance, it is for sure an advantage if digging takes place in connection with a new construction, as it allows access with larger machinery.
The cellar is model White. It is 2.0m deep with room for 1,190 bottles. It sounds like a lot, but we know from the client, that they actually would have liked more capacity. We also know from the client, that the cellar supposedly is eminent for storing chocolate, since chocolate does not become gray and dull with the temperature and humidity in a Spiral Cellar.
