This White cellar with a depth of 3 meters is the deepest cellar we construct. It has a capacity of 1,900 bottles of wine – which is usually enough for most people.
The villa has a basement underneath most of the house, apart from the kitchen area where the Spiral Cellar is installed. The soil that is surrounding the cellar gives the perfect conditions for a steady temperature and humidity all year around, without the use of electricity.
The cellar is installed with a half round glass trap door and has LED lights under each step as well as in the floor.
It took 4 weeks to build the cellar, from our first meeting with the client to the final touches.
