In an old farmhouse in the north of Zealand, Denmark, the Spiral Cellar gives you an amazing wellcome in the hall. The house is characteristic with its half-timbered outer walls, thatched roof and lattice windows, a perfect setting for a modern interior and the minimalistic Spiral Cellar.
We removed the already existing floor carefully as it had to be re-established once the cellar project was completed. Subsequently we excavated the hole, installed the waterproof membrane and built the wine cellar. The wine cellar is the model White, has a depth of 2 meters and can contain 1,190 bottles of wine. It is completed with a round glass trap door.
