The new villa was built on the shore of a beautiful lake in Sweden in 2017. The excavation of the house foundation and hole for the Spiral Cellar was done at the same time. It is the most practical and economical thing to while the larger machinery is on site.
The hole prepared prior to our team’s arrival, was 2,3 metres deep, the required measure for a 2,0 metres deep cellar. After the hole is dug, the ground is levelled with sand and subsequently lined with a water- and radon proof membrane. The floor of the Spirla Cellar is being cast and the cellar built upon this base afterwards.
The cellar with lake view is model White, which is our most popular model. It is completed with a rectangular trap door with frame and can contain 1,190 bottles of wine.
