Project Copenhagen S - DK
Trap door: Discontinued round model
Optional extras: LED-light solution
On Amager in Copenhagen S, we were given the task of installing a Spiral Cellar which, with its depth of 3.0m, is the deepest we can make. The cellar has a capacity of 1,870 bottles and is located in the entrance of the house, which after this installation can probably be upgraded to be called a ‘Hall’.
The trap door is a round, motorised, framed glass door, and which was tailor made in China for this particular cellar. At the touch of a button, the glass becomes completely milky white and thus opaque. One press again and the glass is completely clear.
We have had the pleasure of using this project several times, as a reference project to show to new prospects, for which we are deeply grateful. Therefore we are still in contact with the owner from time to time, and can happily state that even though it was installed back in 2013, the enthusiasm is still intact: "Every time I enter my Spiral Cellar, I smile".
